Community Guidelines
Last updated: 28 June 2026
Version: 2026-06-01
1. Our community commitment
ReLoop exists to help people save money and reduce food waste together. Everyone using the Platform — Customers, Partners, and their staff — is part of that mission.
These Community Guidelines (“Guidelines”) set expectations for respectful, honest, and safe behavior. They supplement our Terms of Service and Partner Agreement. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban.
2. Be honest
2.1 Accurate listings (Partners)
- Describe surplus food truthfully — do not use stock photos that misrepresent current inventory unless clearly labeled as illustrative.
- Show realistic portions and conditions (e.g. end-of-day bakery items, mixed surplus bags).
- Keep quantity, price, and pickup windows accurate and up to date.
- Mark listings sold out when inventory is gone.
2.2 Fair ordering (Customers)
- Place Orders you intend to pick up.
- Do not abuse promotions, create duplicate accounts, or attempt to manipulate inventory.
- Report technical problems honestly to support — do not exploit bugs for free food or payment.
3. Be safe
3.1 Food safety (Partners)
- Sell only food that is safe to eat at pickup time.
- Follow proper storage, handling, and hygiene practices.
- Do not list recalled, expired (where expiry prohibits sale), or contaminated products.
- See Food Safety and Surplus Disclosure.
3.2 Personal safety (everyone)
- Pick up orders during stated windows at the designated store location.
- Treat store staff and other customers with respect.
- Do not engage in harassment, threats, or discrimination.
- Report unsafe behavior to support@reloop.la.
4. Be respectful
We do not tolerate:
- Hate speech, slurs, or attacks based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar characteristics;
- Harassment, bullying, or sexual misconduct;
- Violence or threats of violence;
- Doxxing (sharing private personal information without consent).
Disagreements about orders should be handled calmly through support channels.
5. Prohibited content and conduct
You may not use the Platform to:
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| Illegal activity | Selling stolen goods, unlicensed alcohol, or products prohibited by law |
| Fraud | Fake stores, fake orders, payment manipulation, chargeback abuse |
| Misleading practices | Bait listings, hidden fees, off-platform payment diversion |
| Spam | Unsolicited bulk messages, fake reviews, scraping |
| IP infringement | Unauthorized use of brand logos, copyrighted images |
| Malware / hacking | Attempting to breach Platform security or other users’ accounts |
| Impersonation | Pretending to be another person, store, or ReLoop staff |
6. Photos and media standards
Partners
- Upload photos you have the right to use (your own photos of your surplus food are preferred).
- No excessively graphic, violent, or sexually explicit imagery.
- No images of individuals without their consent where identifiable.
Customers
- If you upload profile photos or reviews (when features are available), follow the same standards.
ReLoop may compress, crop, or reject images that violate these Guidelines.
7. Reviews and feedback (when available)
When rating or reviewing Partners:
- Base feedback on your actual experience;
- Do not post false, retaliatory, or incentivized reviews;
- Do not include personal attacks or protected-class slurs.
Partners may not offer incentives specifically conditioned on positive reviews unless disclosed and permitted by Platform rules.
8. Enforcement
8.1 Actions we may take
Depending on severity and history, ReLoop may:
- Issue a warning;
- Remove or hide Content;
- Cancel Orders and issue refunds where appropriate;
- Suspend Partner approval or listing privileges;
- Temporarily or permanently terminate accounts;
- Report illegal activity to authorities.
8.2 Reporting
To report a violation:
Email: support@reloop.la
Subject: “Community Guidelines Report”
Include:
- Your account email (if you have one);
- Store or user involved;
- Order ID (if applicable);
- Description and screenshots if available.
We review reports as promptly as practicable but cannot guarantee outcomes in every case.
